The Way of the Lord: Walked or Stumbled?

Introduction (அறிமுகம்)

The prophet Hosea closes his book with a remarkable statement:

"Who is wise? Let him understand these things. Who is prudent? Let him know them. For the ways of the Lord are right; the righteous walk in them, but transgressors stumble in them." — Hosea 14:9 (NKJV)

The same path. Two different outcomes. The difference is not in the path but in the person walking it.

God's Ways Are Right (கடவுளின் வழிகள் சரியானவை)

"As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him." — Psalm 18:30 (NKJV)

God's commands are not arbitrary restrictions. They are the guardrails of life. Every commandment protects, every instruction guides, and every principle leads to blessing.

Why Some Walk and Others Stumble (ஏன் சிலர் நடக்கிறார்கள், வேறு சிலர் இடறுகிறார்கள்)

The Righteous Walk (நீதிமான்கள் நடக்கிறார்கள்)

Those who walk in God's ways do so with:

• Humility -- acknowledging they need direction
• Trust -- believing God's way is better than their own
• Obedience -- following even when it is difficult
• Consistency -- staying on the path through seasons of testing

Transgressors Stumble (பாதகர் இடறுகிறார்கள்)

Those who stumble on the same path do so because of:

• Pride -- "I know a better way"
• Rebellion -- "I don't want to follow"
• Selectiveness -- obeying some commands while ignoring others
• Bitterness -- blaming God when His path includes suffering

Application (செயல்படுத்துதல்)

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." — Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV)

"உன் சுயபுத்தியின்மேல் சாயாமல், உன் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் கர்த்தரில் நம்பிக்கையாயிருந்து, உன் வழிகளிலெல்லாம் அவரை நினைத்துக்கொள்; அப்பொழுது அவர் உன் பாதைகளைச் செவ்வைப்படுத்துவார்." — நீதிமொழிகள் 3:5-6 (TAOVBSI)

• Are you walking in God's ways or stumbling over them?
• Where have you substituted your way for His?
• Submit to His path today -- it is always right, even when it is difficult.
