Revealed but Unused

Introduction (அறிமுகம்)

One of the greatest dangers in the Christian life is not ignorance but inaction. Many believers know far more than they practice. They have heard hundreds of sermons, read through the Bible, and memorized key verses -- yet their lives remain unchanged.

James confronts this directly:

"But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves." — James 1:22 (NKJV)

The Problem of Unused Revelation (பயன்படுத்தப்படாத வெளிப்பாட்டின் பிரச்சனை)

1. We Hear but Don't Obey (கேட்கிறோம் ஆனால் கீழ்ப்படிவதில்லை)

"But why do you call Me 'Lord, Lord,' and not do the things which I say?" — Luke 6:46 (NKJV)

"Knowledge puffs up, but love edifies." — 1 Corinthians 8:1 (NKJV)

Knowledge without application becomes spiritual pride.

3. We Receive but Don't Respond (பெறுகிறோம் ஆனால் பதிலளிப்பதில்லை)

Every Sunday we receive truth. The question is: what do we do with it on Monday?

"Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock." — Matthew 7:24 (NKJV)

Both builders heard the same words. The difference was not in the hearing but in the doing.

Application (செயல்படுத்துதல்)

• What truth has God revealed to you that you have not yet acted on?
• Is there a command you have been avoiding, a relationship you need to reconcile, or a habit you need to change?
• Move from hearing to doing. That is where transformation happens.

"But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does." — James 1:25 (NKJV)
