Power Without the Presence
வல்லமை உண்டு, பிரசன்னம் இல்லை
Israel fetched the ark like a lucky charm, wanting God's power without His presence and without repentance. The tragedy was not the lost battle but the departed glory that most did not even notice. God is real, and even His enemies fear Him, but the question remains: is He your God?
இஸ்ரவேலர் உடன்படிக்கைப்பெட்டியை ஒரு தாயத்தாக கொண்டு வந்தார்கள் - தேவனுடைய பிரசன்னமும் மனந்திரும்புதலும் இல்லாமல் அவருடைய வல்லமையை மட்டும் விரும்பினார்கள். சோகம் யுத்தத்தில் தோற்றது அல்ல; மகிமை விலகிப்போனதுதான் - அதை பலரும் கவனிக்கவே இல்லை. தேவன் மெய்யானவர், அவருடைய பகைஞர்களும் அவருக்கு பயப்படுகிறார்கள்; ஆனால் கேள்வி இதுவே: அவர் உன் தேவனா?
