Knowing the Thoughts of the Lord

Introduction (அறிமுகம்)

We live in a time when information is everywhere -- we know what is happening in the world, in politics, in business. But how many of us know what God is thinking? How many of us pause and ask, "Lord, what is on Your heart today?"

The Bible tells us that His thoughts are not our thoughts, and yet, again and again, God reveals His heart to those who seek Him.

"For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways," says the Lord. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts." — Isaiah 55:8-9 (NKJV)

The Nature of God's Thoughts (கடவுளின் நினைவுகளின் தன்மை)

1. Higher and Holier (உயர்ந்ததும் பரிசுத்தமானதும்)

God's thoughts are from a divine, eternal, righteous perspective. His wisdom is infinite, while ours is limited by time, emotion, and sin.

2. Not Evil or Harmful (தீமையானதல்ல, தீங்கானதல்ல)

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope." — Jeremiah 29:11 (NKJV)

God's thoughts are rooted in love, even when they involve discipline.

We cannot figure God out by logic or study alone -- He must reveal Himself.

1. Through the Word of God (தேவ வார்த்தையின் மூலம்)

2. Through the Spirit of God (தேவ ஆவியின் மூலம்)
