Your Will: Praying the Lord's Prayer

Introduction (அறிமுகம்)

Jesus taught His disciples how to pray, not with many words, but with a prayer that covers every dimension of our relationship with God.

"In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. 1. Our Father in Heaven, Hallowed Be Your Name (பரமண்டலங்களிலிருக்கிற எங்கள் பிதாவே, உம்முடைய நாமம் பரிசுத்தப்படுவதாக)

Worship God as holy, righteous, and exalted above all. Acknowledge Him as Father -- loving and caring for His children. Declare His greatness in heaven and on earth.

2. Your Kingdom Come (உம்முடைய ராஜ்யம் வருவதாக)

Pray for the salvation of souls and the gospel to spread. Ask for righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. Pray for God's reign to transform hearts and bring His light to every situation.

Pray that His will -- good, holy, and perfect -- prevails in families, church, and society. Surrender personal plans and desires to align with His purpose.

Ask for provision -- food, shelter, health, and resources. Pray for balance: not so much that we forget God, nor so little that we dishonour Him.

Pray for cleansing from sin and a spirit of repentance. Ask for grace to forgive others and release bitterness.

Pray for protection from sin, temptation, and traps of the enemy.

7. For Yours Is the Kingdom and the Power and the Glory Forever (ராஜ்யமும், வல்லமையும், மகிமையும் என்றென்றைக்கும் உம்முடையவைகளே)

Declare that all power and authority belong to God. Return glory to Him for answered prayers.

"Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power and the glory, the victory and the majesty; for all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours." — 1 Chronicles 29:11 (NKJV)
