How to Know God's Will

Introduction (அறிமுகம்)

One of the most common questions believers ask is: "How do I know God's will for my life?" We often look for dramatic signs, visions, or audible voices. But Scripture reveals that knowing God's will is more about the condition of our heart than a specific event.

Jesus warned:

"Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven." — Matthew 7:21 (NKJV)

Doing God's will requires first knowing it, and knowing it requires intentional pursuit.

How God Reveals His Will (கடவுள் தம் சித்தத்தை எவ்வாறு வெளிப்படுத்துகிறார்)

1. Through His Word (அவரது வார்த்தையின் மூலம்)

The Bible is God's revealed will. Before seeking special guidance, have we obeyed what He has already clearly said?

A mind shaped by the world cannot discern God's will. Transformation comes through consistent engagement with Scripture and prayer.

3. Through Surrender (சரணாகதியின் மூலம்)

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." — Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV)

God guides those who are willing to follow before they know the destination -- like Abraham, who "went out, not knowing where he was going" (Hebrews 11:8).

4. Through Godly Counsel (தெய்வீக ஆலோசனையின் மூலம்)

"Where there is no counsel, the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety." — Proverbs 11:14 (NKJV)

5. Through Prayer and the Holy Spirit (ஜெபத்தின் மூலமும் பரிசுத்த ஆவியின் மூலமும்)

Application (செயல்படுத்துதல்)

• Stop waiting for a sign and start obeying what you already know.
• Saturate your mind in God's Word daily.
• Surrender your plans and preferences to Him.
• Seek counsel from mature believers.
• Pray persistently and listen patiently.

God's will is not hidden from those who genuinely seek it. He promises: "You will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart" (Jeremiah 29:13).
