Responding to Rebellion in a God-Pleasing Way

Introduction (அறிமுகம்)

Every leader, parent, and believer will face moments when those they serve turn against them. Rebellion is not new -- it is as old as Lucifer's fall and as common as Korah's revolt against Moses.

The question is not whether rebellion will come, but how we respond when it does.

The Challenge of Responding to Rebellion (கலகத்திற்கு பதிலளிப்பதின் சவால்)

Our natural response to opposition is fight or flight -- either we retaliate or we withdraw. But God calls us to a third way: respond with grace while trusting Him with justice.

Biblical Examples (வேதாகம உதாரணங்கள்)

Moses and Korah (மோசேயும் கோராகும்) -- Numbers 16

When Korah and 250 leaders challenged Moses' authority, Moses did not defend himself. He fell on his face before God and said:

"Tomorrow morning the Lord will show who is His." — Numbers 16:5 (NKJV)

David and Saul (தாவீதும் சவுலும்) -- 1 Samuel 24

Even when Saul pursued him to kill him, David refused to take matters into his own hands. He said:

"The Lord judge between you and me, and the Lord avenge me on you. But my hand shall not be against you." — 1 Samuel 24:12 (NKJV)

1. Do not repay evil for evil (தீமைக்குத் தீமை செய்யாதிருங்கள்)

"Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men." — Romans 12:17 (NKJV)

Application (செயல்படுத்துதல்)

• Is there someone who has turned against you, opposed your leadership, or spoken against you?
• Resist the urge to retaliate. Commit the situation to God.
• Continue to walk in integrity and let God defend your cause.
