Sowing Today for Tomorrow
The principle of sowing and reaping is one of the most fundamental truths in Scripture. Paul writes plainly: "Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows" (Galatians 6:7).
The Law of the Harvest
Every farmer understands this: you cannot plant thorns and expect to harvest wheat. The seed determines the fruit. This principle applies to every area of our lives — our words, our habits, our relationships, our service.
What are you sowing today?
Sowing in Faith
Some of the most important seeds we plant are invisible. A prayer offered in secret. A kind word spoken when no one else is watching. A sacrifice made without recognition. These are seeds of faith — and God sees every one.
Sowing in Season and Out
Paul encourages us not to grow weary in doing good, "for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up" (Galatians 6:9). The hardest part of sowing is the waiting. The harvest does not come immediately. There are seasons of drought, seasons of doubt. But the promise stands.
Sowing for Eternity
The wisest investment we can make is sowing into things that last — into people's lives, into the Kingdom of God, into character and integrity. Everything else fades. But what is sown in the Spirit, Paul says, from the Spirit reaps eternal life.
Let us be intentional sowers — faithful in the small things, trusting God with the increase.
