About Us

For 15 years, a working woman, D.R. Sobana, worked among rural people in a few villages, preaching the gospel of Christ and helping people all by herself. In July 2000, God gave her a vision & promised her that He would expand her ministry. One year later, on 4th June 2001, the "Good Samaritan Mission Trust" was established and duly registered with the Government of Tamil Nadu, by God's faithfulness and grace!

Today, she is the Managing Trustee of the GSMT, with four other Trustees. The Trust is purely dedicated for God's work among people and we are committed to do whatever our Lord, Jesus Christ expects of us from time to time and thereby glorify His Name, Amen!
  We need money, materials, people & prayers to meet our needs for the Trust. Although money is important, we would be delighted if people come forward and involve themselves, giving ideas, time & energy, equipments &
  materials for the various works the Trust is planning to undertake and become of this service to God! “We welcome Good Samaritans!”
